Friday 30th April 2021 - Wear Yellow for Young Minds

We want everyone to Wear Yellow on Friday 30th April for Young Minds Trust. Young Minds are the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people's mental health and they are one of our nominated charities for 2021 so we are asking everyone to Wear Something Yellow for Young Minds. Whether it's one sock or a full Bananaman outfit, it all counts. Then for every person who wears something yellow or makes a donation of at least £1 then we will add an extra £5 up to £500.

Visit our Just Giving page for more information.

Friday 13th August 2021 - Marie Curie Golf Day

We have been lucky enough and proud to sponsor the @MarieCurieNI Golf Day at the picturesque @ShandonParkGC  for the past 6 years & this year is no exception.

On Friday 13th August our director John will be there to pick up his annual wooden spoon whilst watching other members of the Servoca party actually playing golf, alongside club members and other guests.

Marie Curie is the largest charitable provider of end of life care in Northern Ireland. They provide home-based nursing across all five trusts and hospice services in the Belfast and South Eastern Trust. As well as policy and campaigning, they are the largest charitable funder of research to improve end of life care.

In 2020, the event raised a superb £4530 on behalf of the charity and we are all hopping to help them better that figure this year.

For more information on the great work that they do, you can visit https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/who/what-we-do/marie-curie-northern-ireland.

Friday 8th October 2021

Join thousands of schools, offices and communities on Friday, 8 October by taking part in #HelloYellow and raising vital funds to support our work. Dig out your neon socks, custard scarf and banana hat - let's show young people they're not alone with their mental health!

We all struggle with how we're feeling sometimes and it's normal to have ups and downs.

This year might have felt a little more down than up. But it's the little things that have got us through it - the morning walks, singing in the shower, the perfect cuppa, that Netflix show that got us all buzzing, the bestie who makes you LOL, the teacher who has your back.

Saying #HelloYellow this World Mental Health Day is a little thing we can do to make a BIG difference to young people's mental health.

Because a little yellow goes a long way. To donate, visit our Just Giving page here.

Thursday 14th October 2021

The Police Resettlement EXPO is back to being a face to face event for the first time since the panedmic.

The Police Resettlement EXPO has been brought to market to change the view of many officers leaving the force believing that the options to them are limited on the outside. We have seen a large increase in the amount of companies from the private sector who are interested in meeting with candidates with previous policing experience. The EXPO is FREE to attend and gives you access to all of the exhibition stands and speaking sessions.

You should attend the EXPO if you would like to engage with constabularies who use our services to find officers who may be looking to come back into a policing environment or companies who would be keen to talk to you if you are approaching the end of your service or have recently left the force.

If you are looking for advice or would like to engage with companies who can assist with your future career, then the Police Resettlement EXPO will provide you with this opportunity.

To register for the event you can visit the website here.
